About Us

Established in June 2013, 1^st Florida Realty is a labor of love for Carol Bigelow and Lynn Byrne – collectively owning and managing Real Estate Brokerages for over 30 years. 

Carol and Lynn became friends then partners through their love of Real Estate over the years.  In 2013 they decided to join forces, close their respective existing offices and start 1^st Florida Realty.  Their desire was to have a company large enough to provide all the services their clients deserved and small enough that their clients would never get lost. Over the years the company has grown to over 25 agents, all of whom have the same love and respect for Real Estate and their desire to please their clients.  We offer full-service to clients, including buyers, sellers, and investment property owners through our property management services.

Offices are conveniently located beachside in Daytona Beach Shores and Daytona Beach right on the Ormond Beach border. 

 About Carol & Lynn:

Prior to Real Estate, Carol has a background of 35 years ownership in an insurance business. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Ormond Beach Historical Society, helping to preserve the rich history of Ormond Beach.  Carol was awarded the “2016 Community Partnership Award”. 

Prior to Real Estate, Lynn was a materials manager for companies in Florida and Pennsylvania.  She also worked as a new car salesperson in Germany and Virginia and way back she was one of the first women selling auto parts in a Chevrolet Dealership.  Lynn is also involved in the community working with American Cancer Society, serving on the Board of Directors, past President of the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors, past chair for the Ormond Beach Leadership Academy and President-elect of our local Boys and Girls Club..
